Bannon has likely spent enough time in prison already for this offense that it would equal any likely sentence, though it's a shame that this will erase his felony conviction.

So how much will the ballroom cost vs how much was donated? That is, if the donations are even legitimate.

He spent 4 months, not nearly enough.
At Bannon's trial, he was sentenced to four months. He served his entire sentence.
I agree it's not enough, but four months is also the official federal guideline for his offense.
