Did you all JUST see that Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s trial on smuggling just got dismissed and instead the judge is going to rule on whether the prosecution was selective/vindictive? Hell Yeah!!!!!👍🏻
YES! We have one at our local school, and it freaked me out completely. Stephen Decatur School in Ocean City, MD, did their own chapter of TP! ;( And there's another at Salisbury University. A bunch of white Christian nationalist boys - it's so sad how the schools allow this! Keep religion and this nonsense out of our schools!!
I hope we can find strategies to counter this, do something about this. I don't think this is being spoken about enough. It's a well-done, thought-out grassroots movement. And as the substack post I linked said, it also offers them a martyr and that can be infectious is it catches on.
Desantis has promoted them for schooling Florida. Full of Republican Fox News millionaires that are trying to change the state into a far right utopia like handmaids tale!!!
Something a friend pointed out when we were discussing Turning Point is that the fight against tpusa needs to come from main stream churches who support separation of church and state and that they need to do it to protect their own religious freedom. This is a great book on this very theme. Waj Ali spoke about it and I went and got it. 1) Give the various Times and Timezones within the US, as Google Calendar sometimes fails to make it easy to enter another time zone. e.g., 8:30 pm ET, 7:30 pm CT, 6:30pm MT, 5:30pm PT
2) Point to a page that has the links to see the video that you are just announcing so that we can create a Google Calendar entry, and launch a task that would allow us to see the session in real time or after its start (or end)

I also would like a WEBpage, or some other area where you, and others, point to various other Sites, Sessions, etc. that also discuss other details, etc., and both sides of the legal environment so that we who want to understand the area can understand some of the nuances as opposed to "on one Side ... Glenn, maybe in future we can discuss Turning Point. I am hearing more and more of the number of groups being started in schools, high schools, colleges/universities. So we need to connect with our young people.
And they want to recruit our military from these groups, so they will be pre-indoctrinated.
